A real horror story

A man believed to be in a coma for 23 years, was concious the whole time but unable to tell anyone because he had been paralysed. Imagine...23 years with no stimulus, no music, reading, no conversation, nothing. Just lying there, unable to tell those around you that you are 'alive'. It sends a shiver up your spine.

Wow, that's scary. Surprised he didn't go mad.
Makes you wonder how many people about to have their life support to be turned off are internally screaming "NOOOO!!".
Would make a very chilling horror movie.

Not sure I'd be too bothered, if it meant I didn't have to endure 23 years of doing absolutely nothing!
