Hmm.. I don't seem to be as impressed as the builder. I've never seen a boat sit on a davit at that angle before and overall.. it just doesn't look right to me. That said.. I don't possess an Airfix mug so I'm probably talking BLX :lol:

Still early test shots.

It remains to be seen but at that scale it would be easy to addlots of extra detail :)

Agreed Dave, that one boat looks like it's ready to topple right off the davit, methinks he made a small
booboo there. I could be wrong.

Well mate.. some things about ships are as obvious to sailors as some things are to aviation nuts. This chap didn't look like he was an amateur (not with an Airfix mug!!) so either the model is wrong or he had a blonde moment :) Boats, no matter what variety do not sit on davits at such a jaunty angle.. unless the davit has broken or some plonker has disconnected one end ;)

I'd just use my Airfix Superreighter instructions and turn them round...blunt bit to the back :xgrin: 8)
