Hi Guys

A week ago i dug out Battlefield2 again

Not used it for years as it had too many problems

reinstalled the game

then the 1.41 update and then the huge 1.5 update

what a transformation to a now superb game

Even better is i downloaded a huge mod called "Forgotten Hope 2.2" which takes you back to WWII in superb detail ::: info on what you end up with http://forgottenhope.warumdarum.de/index.php

Mod available from here once your upto date with BF2 1.5 http://www.fileplanet.com/183175/180000 ... 2.2-Client

file is 2.6 gb but the fileplanet free downloader took about 3 hours here

worth every kb

Tiger Tanks and all the others to kill

Superb fun

Well that's good news. Cyberbrat and his chums have been battling continually since it came out and must be exhausted. Despite their sacrifices it still doesn't seem to be having much effect on enemy numbers :S

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that reinforcements are on their way. Hopefully you can take over the night shift and I can get to sleep earlier.

Ian

Rick, I would also try out the - "Project Reality" mod for BF2 v1.5 - http://www.realitymod.com/

It's definitely amped up the difficulty factor. It's really designed for multiplayer, but I'll tell you, playing it online with real guys can make it either really fun or really frustrating depending on how things go. But it's a good kind of frustrating because you're complaining about your own failures, not people using exploits and doing "stupid stuff" like bunny hopping and other things that have killed some of the original goals of these games.

I love Modern warefare 2. Especially in Multiplayer mode. But I find it a little frustrating as I'm rubbish at it.

I keep getting my ass kicked by 9 yr old american hot shots. Bloody ill with it.

Anyone have it on PS3?

Cyberbrat has it on X-box and in multiplayer he talks live on a headset to his mates who are in the same platoon. You can hear them shouting instructions and warnings to each other over the noise of the battle 8)

Perhaps that's the secret, Eddie. Don't go out there alone - it's too dangerous. Make sure somebody's watching your back!
