Yes it's interesting that it's got photos of
ALL of the RAF Argies.
I recently bought the Warpaint Argosy book with lots of nice drawings and photos.
...And I'm just finishing my Magna 1-72 Argie C.1
They used to based at my local, Benson, but sadly went out of service just months before I was born! Still, I have a very vague recollection of seeing what must have been an E.1 on approach to Benson in the late '70s.
Then in the early to mid '80s, what must have been a civvie one climbed out of Benson right over my house! It
could possibly have been Boscombe's one, if it was up to 1984 when I saw it...

Any pics of the model Chris??
XN817 continued in service until the 80's so it was probably that one you saw

Yes I will post some shots Garry, when it's done. Just appling the decals. Cheatline is quite fiddly - got to cut it to shape for zig-zag on the nose, etc.
I'll post some of my other models aswell....if I ever get round to finishing them!
