Happy new year guys!

In an attempt to blast some of the festive cobwebs away, I had a wander through Almondell park in West Lothian earlier today... here are some of the shots....

Begins with quite a stiff climb:

Disused Camps railway viaduct, with a 'protective' walkway to prevent anyone getting crushed by falling masonry.... no idea how useful it would be, and the viaduct is in use as part of the national cycle network..

Naysmith's bridge at the bottom of the East Calder area of the park. This bridge over the Almond was a complete ruin until fairly recently, all that remained was the centre arch with no sides. The green iron bridge a couple of shots up was the crossing until this was repaired - I reckon it's a fantastic job!

Wonderful shots mate. :)

I have to admit, the snow is a pain in the arse in Manchester. Brought most of the region to a standstill and most of the old stuff has iced over and its just started snowing again.

Can't get my car near the house as the gritters can't get up our road as its on a hill and too icy. Its parked two streets away!

Not able to cycle/run as its too bad on the pavements.

Bah humbug..

Yep last two best. Only one thing missing no salmon leaping the falls. You'll have to do better next time.
