'Sorry we're closed' - Today at Manchester Airport.

Hi guys,

Just a few snaps of Manchester Intl Airport this morning. The airport has been closed all night and did'nt reopen until around 1245 today.

This gave time for about four or five flights to land and then it closed again.

The airport has sent several frustrated and disappointed passengers home or to hotels for the night with the intention of catching flights tommorrow. With even further snow predicted here I fear more delays and cancellations to come.

A very busy place at the moment for us. More so than when its running normally. Lots of people waiting around for hours, bored to tears and many deciding to get plastered.

Airport vehicles (including our land rover) are very much at the mercy of nature at the moment.

Off now for two days. Thank god!! :guinn:

I have just got home after battling in the snow and abandoning my car three streets away, but thats another story.

Here are a few snaps that I took before things got really busy. The snow is much deeper than this now!
