SimSRD

Post by Effoh »

May be of interest - on AVSIM....

SimSRD is a Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 7, 32/64 bit) utility for flight simulation and virtual air traffic control users (e.g. VATSIM) enabling pilots and controllers alike to access up-to-date information from the UK Standard Route Document when planning flights that depart, arrive, or transit UK airspace. This provides an alternative to relying on the UK SRD PDF document, which is cumbersome to use and does not allow routes to be copied and pasted into other flight planning applications. SimSRD is relevant for anyone planning flights starting and/or ending within UK airspace who wants to ensure they are using the current, correct, real world UK IFR routeings. For international flights simply choose the correct intersection as the UK entry or exit point and perform the route lookup.
