:(

Still looks very snowy there. Here (just 1hr's drive north) the snow has all but melted completely. The conditions were similar in that respect just before Christmas, with the weather being worse both in terms of visibility and precipitation in Oxon and Berks than here in Warks. At this stage it doesnt state whether the weather was a factor. Most unfortunate that it took 1hr 40 (from approximate crash time) to extinguish the fire but it seems the crash site is pretty inaccessible.

We were driving from Oxford back to Brize today, and decided to go via Kidlington. It was around 1400 that we went past, as I got home about 1420. Having looked over the pan at some of the nice biz jets sat there, I doubt the viz was much more than a couple of hundred metres on the deck. Maybe 400m at most. Back at Brize it didn't seem much above 100m on the roads.
