Earth Simulations Isle Of Wight's Needles, Monir's Video,Using Latest Frap's update and Nvidia 8 series driver. Preferably viewed with PhysX enabeled in your nvidia control panel to enjoy fully the ES animations and ES sounds.

View in HD if your broad band service can cope .if so activate the higher resolution as soon as the youtube link start [ imidiately ] then in full view too if you wish. The same advice applies to my previous Youtube video links.

I hope you enjoy watching. Any feed back is welcomed, here or on Youtube.

With my thanks to ES for the Free IOW Needles, to Horizon Simulations fo VFR _GenX_2.0 and to MS for FSX.

Hi Monir :hello:

Tks for highlighting that the Needles is free.. my GenXv2 doesn't have any at all! 8)

I don't want to sound critical but it was difficult from that film to see which was the 'star'.. the Bell or the Needles as both had equal prominence. It could of course have been your slightly unorthodox helicopter flying technique ;)

Anyways.. it played fine in standard mode with hardly a stutter throughout so that bit is working fine

Thanks Dave for the feedback.

My slightly unorthodox helicopter flying technique is due to the fact that I was trying to show as much of the scenery contents and animations in as little time as possible.

The HD play back is verry good if your system and broad band speed is high enough?. May be I am lucky in having a 10 GB speed courtesy of Vergin cable provider.

Regards

Hi Monir :hello:

I didn't give HD a go as I'm still in the dark ages with 2mb BB here. It should be fine though as I can stream live TV ok ;)

I think the star was "flipper" and his family hopping in and out of the water, damn I wish I had kept FSX for that alone

I downloaded it this afternoon (as well as Stonehenge which they incorrectly title Stone Henge!). The dolphins are cool.. moreso because you see them below the surface too  My lighthouse doesn't light mind you which sums up my continuing experience with FSX  I'm sure the answer is out there but I CBA to look ;)

Hi Dennis.

If you are reffering to our VFR multiplayers treasure hunts acronyms ?

They proved to be very educational ;) .
