They did similar with a 747 and some narow bodies which often get used in films (movies)

Funny that supposed nose wheel mounted camera was down well before the mains

Think they had it set on maintenance mode so they could lower each gear individually.

Just checked out the prices, its about £315 for the 1080p and £215 less for the 720p model.

It's a nice vid that one, I saw it posted on another forum this morning.

They used a 747 classic (with one of them 'specialists' behind the two pilots) and that type has 5 alternate gear extend switches, one for each individual leg. Once they were slowed down they used that to drop the nose gear and later on they selected gear down with the normal lever which made the other four drop as well.

Interesting about the switches

There was a pic in Airliner World..I think.....some years ago, of an MK 747 landing at Manston with only two main legs down.

The article was about Manston and the pic was just to illustrate the operator so no comment was made about the configuration.

At light weights you can legally land the 747 with the body gear retracted (same on the DC-10-30 even to the point where you can select to hold the center gear on the front panel), so that may have been what was going on there.
