would be nice to think but they would probably let a US company come in promise to keep all the factories open and then close them at the first opportunity shipping all the work to eastern europe or beyond........Kraft airplane corp !!!!

I'm a big fan of the Fokker 100, like the 146 both aircraft have (IMHO) never really been replaced by a viable alternative. Well done to the Dutch government

I like the F-100..it was what they should have done with the One-Eleven but didn't.

IMHO it is a very neat looking jet and I even go a KLM 1/100 scale model for a couple of quid last week

Interesting, but possibly a few years too late. Embraer have really got a solid market share now and Bombardier will be playing catch up with their C-Series not to mention the Sukhoi regional jet which looks very promising, if "western" airlines have the trust to purchase a Russian aircraft.

I've flown on F-100s several times and found it quite pleasant unless you're next to the engine intakes in which case its deafening. Loud noise for spotters is great, but when its about 2 to 3 feet from your ear drum for 1.5hr flight, its another matter!

I'll be interested to see how this develops. Would love to see 146/RJX production restart, but I think there's more chance of finding Wensleydale on the moon.
