Has anyone been to Horizon Software recently?

Hi Chaps :hello:

I appreciate GenX by Horizon is payware but.. their site contains loads of freebie addon airfields and scenery. However, the link I used last is now out of date.. Horizon have updated their forum software and here's the blinder.. the old username and password I used are no longer valid :worried: The old vicious then comes into play. Try and login with the old settings and it says they're already in use. Request another password and you can't be found. Try and reregister using a different name and it says your email is already in use. I really love it when folk f**k about with Joe Public like this 8) Unless I change my email address, I guess I'm out of the 'Horizon Loop' for good :wall:
A lot of the freebies contained therein were linked to other sites (I know our very own Trev Clark has some of his files hosted at one such site). Does anyone have an address for any of these 'alternate' GenX scenery sites??

Hi Folks

Dave -
Try accessing directly via Playhorizon - Horizon's new support forum

All usernames and passwords are supposedly the same.

Possibly case-sensitive now.

Are you "daveb" over there ?
If so I could PM you from there,
which should email you a direct link.

You could then try entering your password from there.

EDIT -
Otherwise try contacting Phil the new admin, via this form.

Hi Paul :hello:

I'll dig out my original joining email just to make sure but I tried all the various permutations I know of including Dave_B (it doesn't like underscores). ;)

EDIT..
Update to the above. While it's not asked for me to logon previously.. the new forum obviously hasn't cookied me. Having trawled back through my emails on 3 pc's to 19/3/2007, I found my username and it has a hitherto not used number suffix :wall: Tried logging in with that and it let me in  Apologies for slagging them off before (though it was infuriating) Darned good job I still have the old XP2400 up and running ;)
