I've just completed the work on this and here are some shots of the twelve Hunter FGA9s of 208 Squadron getting airborne in one minute and five seconds:-

I've managed to squeeze the twelve traffic Hunters onto the concrete ORP.

...the "gaggle"!

You can see the other shots in the sequence by clicking this address:-

Thank you Dave and Ben...Yes, I sometimes wonder myself how I have the patience for this project. However, the squadron scramble was the most complex set of "Ghost Airports" of them all, and required some peculiar special techniques in AFCAD to make the full pattern from which the twelve ghosts derived. The pattern took two very full days to complete and now it sits disabled as it has done its job...I might just see if I can make a screenshot of the pattern and add it here :)

Here are a couple of shots of the "Pattern" AFCAD:-

This one shows the relevant detail of the "Pattern"...It is not editable as special techniques are required to get things so close together without locking onto something else.

This "Pattern" is called up to make each of the twelve "Ghosts"...So to make the first Ghost for "Delta" all the lines, parking slots and runways NOT connected to the parking slot for Delta would be deleted, just leaving the one parking slot, one set of lines to it and one 34 foot wide runway. Comms frequency would then be added. The 34 feet wide runway width would be reduced to 0.001 feet and the first "Ghost Airport" would be saved as AF2_SS1A.bgl.
The pattern would be then recalled and the same procedure for "Bravo"...note there are only four start locations in the pattern so one of these would not be deleted but dragged into position on the correct and remaining runway.
When all twelve Ghosts have been built then the "Pattern" is disabled by renaming it :hide:

That means I could just about cram four onto that ORP...Still, with four engines each that is sixteen very noisey engines
