My FSAirlines info seems to have... Gone!
Just thought I really ought to get some more flying done and went to see how things were going at FSAirlines.net and it appears that my account has disappeared. Did I miss an announcement or something about having to re-register or something? My last flight was sometime last year, November or December I think...
Hhmm... Also noticed my info has disappeared from the CBFS pages as well...

Hi Gary
There is a 90 day period where you have to log on or you expire
Can't give you the exact details of what happens if you don't, but someone will be along and explain in due course

Thanks Garry. I hope my info hasn't disappeared into the ether.

That is exactly right Garry
The system at FSA does a self-cleaning job on a continual basis and looks for users who haven't logged on for more than 90 days. Any it finds are removed. It's been this way for a long time now but folk still forget. The important thing is that you don't HAVE to fly in any given period to remain active.. you simply need to log on over there.
If you wish to continue flying Gary, apply again at FSA as you did before and I'll get you activated I'm hoping your previous flights will be on the database but we won't know for sure until you apply

Re: My FSAirlines info seems to have... Gone!
Thanks Dave, I'll do that.
Right, done that, but it's not remembered me. I could choose the same user name and email address for registering, so I imagine that my details have been deleted.
Anyway, I've got a new Fodda account, and I've applied for CBFS again. I did put myself in Jersey though as that was where I was at last flight out. Will I need to do my type tests again? No problem if the answer's yes...

Hi Gary
Right.. I wasn't sure just what info had been deleted with the 'auto clean'. It's still showing your hours and miles which is better than a poke in the eye I suppose If I remember correctly, you had the 748 rating so I'll allocate that to you again. If you wish to do a training flight again just to keep your hand in, that's ok but I'll give you the full rating as of now
EDIT..
B*gger.. I allocated your old VA-ID in the hope that your hours/miles remained intact but it appears they're not. Sri mate

Hi Gary,
I've managed to re-activate your old account so I have kicked the 'new' Gary Price from CBFS and you have your flying record intact with the 'old' Gary Price account. Hopefully you still are able to log on to FSA using your old ID and PW. If all is well then just delete your new account.
Regards
John

DOH! It all seems to have gone horribly wrong... Looks like my original FSAirlines account has been deleted. I can't find any way of reactivating it at all, and all the email addresses that I use for FS accounts are unrecognised (I deleted the account I made yesterday).
Looks like I'll have to start again. Never mind eh. Serves me right for not touching FS in over 6 months.
Thanks for all the help though guys. Muchly appreciated.
