Is this as real as FSX gets?

Ignoring for a start the out of place registration of the "star" of the show, and the the oddly surreal 2CV... Is this how we'll all be viewing our FSX flying in three years; when the sort of computing power needed to really pull off this sort of spectacle is within reach of us all? I'm gobsmacked...
Play in full screen mode for most awesome results.
(Not sure where to post this as it's hardly classic, not very British, and not sure how much it costs so dumped it here for now. Move to a more applicable forum if you like, please mods).

That orbx scenery is certainly a 'cut above' isn't it. If you have enough money, you can cover Australia in it too!

I could manage that on my computer....... well at 1-2 fps..........
P4's run hot anyway and when running fsx...... my computer sounds like a vacuum cleaner......

Yes mate.. that'd be a worry for me too. One of my favourite airports in FS9 is Aerosoft's EDDF Extreme.. not only does it look great, it runs great too. Last night, I stumbled into the FSX version of EDDF Extreme (for want of somewhere to put down) which doesn't look as good as it does in FS9 plus.. I went down to 6fps on finals!
Sri.. I don't do 6fps so EDDF has been binned (it was a freebie anyway as I'd bought the FS9 version)
