Classic & Loved by the British

The Pig. Noisy, dirty and smokin!
She spent so much time working over here polluting our skies!
Who can deny the old girl a place in the classic hall of fame.
This particular colour scheme has a special place in my heart. I grew up with G-DDDV.
Apologies in advance to the mods if I have overstepped the boundaries of beauty.

Great snappies Eddie, it gets my vote
Another thing is both the "people" and the plane have names that begin with B

I think they look so much nicer with the smaller engines.

Indeed. Don't forget the noise and smoke.
I think Ryanair was the last UK operator. Maybe wrong though.

HI Eddie
I think it was European/Palmair that was the last in the UK ....Nov 2008

Ah cheers Garry. Knew that European was certainly a contender and it was a toss up between Ryanair and European. Chose the wrong one. Although I reckon Ryanair can't have been too far behind them.

I saw on in Summer 2008

(the only reasoin I knew they were a very late operator) . As I watched it I knew it would be the last time I would see one

......
I don't know how long they would have gone on as the two remaining were one operating for Palmair and another which operated odd charters for European and were in service right up to the airlines' demise so may well have carried on for another season at least
Although I can't give a month, Ryanair retired the last 200's in 2005
