Unfortunatly the paint situation is all too true, except now you have to pay £25 extra, plus VAT, if you want lids on the paint cans. If you provide your own lids, the charge is reduced to £19 - labour for putting the lids on the can which you cannot do yourself due to safety regulations. There is also a paint mixing surcharge of £15 per half can.
