This reminds me.. we have a wind tunnel Vanguard model somewhere at Brooklands only recently donated. I gather it's far too big to display in the real aircraft :-O I must try and seek it out one day ;)

Being an old picture, it's obviously been around a while. It would be nice to have more info on its history.

Now, if only they could produce miniture replica Darts..... :tunes:

The menu said they were plans for a control line model. :help:

That would be a hell of weight to hang on to while spinning round in circles.

I would think *-) .......judging but the three liveries which detail are given, that it dates from the early-mid fifties when control line was more common...well probably the main way then :)

You certainly did.

It was the control line bit that surprised me although it probably shouldn't have. I have seen large control line models flown at a championship at Little Rissington in the early 70s.

I built a couple of control line models myself, not having the money for R/C gear.
