Classic British Flight Sim

I was wonsering if anyone knows of a FSX or FS9 Late model Anson in being or in the works. Always liked the 19 onward variants but searches come to nought. Any pointers gratefully received.

This is one of the many models on DG's 'list' that may or may not get made. I suspect 'not' will be the order of the day as he prefers the military versions he's already done and it's difficult to start making anything you don't really like. Shame as I'd use the civvie version much more than I ever will the military version but there you go.

My Anson 19 is about 60% done, but I haven't touched it for years. Things have moved on since then & I'd probably have to start from scratch to bring it up to todays standards.
I won't say never, but it's unlikely.

That's a pity...I've still got my Pilot's Notes for the 19

They are the only ones...well C.19 and was it a C.21?.....anway those later ones were the only ones I remember in service

Your question prompted me to add up my Anson 19 hours (I only flew the Mark 19)...I was surprised to find that I flew 273 hours 50 mins in VL357 and TX193 when I was a Comms pilot on 275 S&R Squadron from June 1957 till December 1958. 275 Squadron had Sycamores and I flew their spares around all over UK

It was indeed mate and an era that will not return. I like Peters training for the Hunter.. a few sheets of A4 with some notes to digest then off you go.. first training flight, on your own, in a single seater
