Well, the fly-past made a slot on the local East Midlands tv news here . Lots of feather preening by the R.R. staff featured.
I thought it looked quite nice from a distance :hide:

Sure..I can look quite nice from a distance.....with you're eyes closed, standing behind two feet of concrete with a bag over your head :)

The bent wing I find look dodgy....but it's the hideous nose that puts me off...but with a history that includes the Statoliner, B-29/B-50 and Stratocruiser, Boeing is very experienced at butt ugly aeroplanes :hide:

Totally agree Garry.

The photo on airlines.net showing the 787 in formation with 2 Spitfires is a good example of two beauties and the beast.

But i suppose some people like it - just like marmite, you either love it or hate it. (Hope this is not advertising!!)

Ah, but it's even worse if the glue comes from one country, the glue brush from another, and you then find it's too big to fit into the pot! :wasntme:

Another thing Andy is I think there was a shortage of big rubber bands to hold it together whislt drying. 8)
