Jato from the Flight Deck

Filmed on board the Blue Angles Herk during a display

The weighless top of the JATO climb is cool and the landing interesting.

The radio on the right acts as some sort of indicator

Wonderful, thanks for the link. Just got to love the wobbly hula-girl on the coaming.

Garry -
By coincidence, I noticed this morning on Avsim that there is now a payware add-on available, for RATO and presumably JATO as well. I will probably buy it, against the day when some good person does a FS9.1 paint for P.G. ("Bill") Taylor's Frigate Bird II, which made the first Sydney-Valparaiso flight in 1951. Capt. Taylor carried a pair outbound, for the open sea take-off at Easter Island, and another pair he got for the return trip were also needed, although one failed just after take-off, providing a few hairy moments until the other burned out and things became balanced again.

Great video! The poor little hula-girl didn't survive the landing. Tipped right over.

Quite impressive seeing large manoevers at low level in such a big machine :)

And no silly music :excited:
