I've always said it would only be until times changed again...never could see why it should be permanent
Nick....early indications are that all the addons will work......except the 1-11 and HS.748

Can't grumble about a new sim on the way though.

The fact that Microsoft dropped the word Simulator from the name has me a little spooked. Makes me wonder if Flight is going to be some cartoon-like game where you are given certain challenges to do...no wait, that's FSX.

Thought about that too.
Might be a judicial background. Or their glorious depiction of a new start.
Or a marketing idea suggesting that the new sim will be bigger and better than anything before, so that's why we simply call it "Flight".
Garry:
Right, sorry but I don't wanna
feelthere.
All the best,

.... Or the intellectual property agreement that Microsoft and Lockheed made last year. Which is my suspicion as to why MS stopped development of the comsumer version of the sim.
I can't see MS devolping a sim thats going to be better than thee sim (ESP) Lockheed and others use to train pilots. Not if Lockheed has anything to say about it.
We shall see what this Flight program is all about in due course. ...... I havn't flown in sim for over a month because of a computer issue.
sound crackles ....

I have the sim running very well frame rate wise, but it sounds like I'm flying in bowl of Rice Krispies... snap crackle pop !
anyway...
My Biggest hope is they will not so much as even release a Release date untill all the bugs are fixed.
but knowing their track record.... well, that's
