What is your favorite British freeware aircraft?

Mine would have to be the FSX Auster by DaveG. Great on framerates and really enjoyable to fly.

Must be British and freeware

To be completely fair, I couldn't choose any single model AD. While I don't fly them all all the time, I'd hate not to have every single one on my system. Pick any model from one of the developers here and that would be my favourite.. along with any other you decided to pick :)

Indeed Dave :agree:

I like large civl subjects and it only has to stick it's nose in and I'll pick it

In a way some of the models I'm making are my favourites, simply because that's why I'm making them.

The others were already done :)

Not really a question a developer can fairly answer *-)

If you had to twist my arm behind my back or if I was shipwrecked on a desert island with a PC, an unopened box of FSX and only enough bandwidth from my mobile to download one aircraft from the only accessible website (Desert Islands have very strict website blocking policies you know ;)) it would be...............

The Hawker Hunter single/two seaters by Dave Garwood.

Hi Darren

If you made it the Dragon Rapide.....you could land the float 'plane version, fly back to civilisation then swap if for a Hunter from a dodgy dealer :)

I know, sorry Garry. Please excuse my very unsubtle way of saying that I'm aware of the Heron that's been in the works for a while, and it would, without a doubt, be pride of place in my hangar if she ever was released!
