That's about the long and short of it

I do have a look at 'activity' before I post and a good few go unannounced other than the 'auto post' at the bottom of the index page. Seems pointless wishing someone a happy birthday if their last visit was 4 years ago That said, those who pop in every few weeks and have contributed at some point in the past deserve a little recognition for their continued patronage

A word of caution for you Glen. What ever birthday money you get.. SPEND IT! My birthday was back in April and unlike me, I still have it or, more accurate, I THOUGHT I still had it.. waiting for the right thing to come along. Seems I've been nibbling at it over the months as a check 2 days ago found only £50 left I was about £40 short of the £180 needed for a new pair of motorbike boots and now I'm £130 short Woe is me!

I know what you mean Dave, the money's in the pocket burning a hole, can't even get my FS9 to reload at the moment so it's a double whammy.
