Pull over!

This is one of the new armoured land rovers. Kitted out with some very gucci kit including 360 degree ballistic plating and inch thick bullet proof glass.

Should stop anything up to a 7.62mm round.

As for driving the thing. Its a right dog. Plenty of Wallow and wobble. Mainly due to the extra weight of the thing.

Its primary job is a firearms support vehicle.

Had to drive it over to West Yorks for some training this week.

Certainly got a lot of attention on the way. People must of thought there was a war on.. :dunno:

Would look even better with a mounted GPMG and a Milan missile launcher... ;)

What you really want is a Savage, only 4 made, designed by my Dad and a chap called Chris Twentyman to replace the Land Rover APV in NI as they were way too heavy and had a tendency to buckle chasis if they had a bump. The Savage was all compositeand capable of withstanding and RPG. needless to say the "peace process" happened and they never went into full production. I've no idea what happened to the 4 vehicles that were produced. they were used out of HQ in Lisburn for a while.

Understeering won't be a problem though.
