Anybody tried the IE9 beta?

Ben.

Re: Anybody tried the IE9 beta?
Have it on my laptop but as there's no adblocker or flash blocker yet or proper flash player (apart from a beta version) it's not being used.

Re: Anybody tried the IE9 beta?
Note for anyone still using XP (like me) IE9 will not work with XP.

Try IE8 Dave. I held off for nearly a year but finally secumbed and I like it more than IE7. Somewhere in the back of my mind I think I recall you may have tried IE8 but the fonts were screwed up but IE8 is more secure and far less prone to crash than IE7.

I haven not tried it Ben , although tempted I waited because I was concerned about the issue Darrren mentioned.
So now I know I'll wait a little while longer. It do look impressive.

I tried Mozilla Firefox out about two years ago, and after half an hour I was hooked. I'll never go back to IE.
