Had a quick test flight earlier from East Midlands to Birmingham. Very nice hand flyer, leaps off the runway like s*** off a shovel. The Panel is functional and very easy to use, but you procedural fans will be left feeling disappointed at the lack of switches to flick.
Personally, I prefer to fire up the engines and get flying, and this is the sort of aircraft to do that in spades.
I have the elderly Eurowings Commuter Airlines 146 to compare with, and it's hard to review the two in light of the fact that one is payware (and very old) and several years separate the two.
Yes, the Aerosoft effort has a better panel and sounds, but that's because it's payware!
This 146 has character and flyability that really gets to the essence of a unique aircraft that most of us have fond memories of. (I only flew twice on an AirUk 146 from Stansted to Glasgow and back).
Well done to the team; Jean-Pierre Brisard, Bob May, Rob Barendregt, Ken Mitchell, Steve Southey & Doug Dawson. Your effort is much appreciated.

I look forward to flying this tonight. I wonder if there will be a repaint of our only NZ based BAe 146?

Thanks.I didn'tknow about that one

Funny how some types can be rare

Boeing 757's are common in Europe and are used across the Atlantic but there are not many to be seen down your way *-)
