I've gone all gassy.
I hear these are going to be the next big thing.
Rigid airship USS Macon, along with 2 airfield scenery packs, airship mast and AI versions on FlightSim.com for FSX

S'Alright, the Macon was Hydrogen filled.
Now how about some fighters to drop out the bottom of it?

Is it me or is the tower too tall / in the wrong place for the shadow she's casting on the ground?

I have an option in the settings for "ground scenery shadows" that's off. So it means airfield objects don't cast shadows, aircraft do though

Good spot Gordon
Despite the fact the taower is not casting a shadow it looks wrong though as if the airship is about 100 feet further away from us than the tower

I thought there was something wrong with the shot but couldn't put my finger on it

Darren.. you can also turn off 'aircraft cast shadows' in the aircraft display settings

I've just had another look, although the mast isn't giving off a shadow the Airship is, is this a problem with the shadow of the Airship or is it because "officially" the Airship has landed, FS therefore automatically giving it a ground shadow?

Yep, but I usually keep those on as aircraft without shadows under them on the ground look odd.
