Back to FS2004

Well I have removed FSX and reinstalled FS2004. I must say that with the new processor installed, FS2004 is running great. I'm getting 40fps and have no problems at all.

I can use all of my aircraft without the problems I had in FSX.

Anybody know where I can download the Glacier bay package for FS2004?

Hi AD..

I'm pretty sure I got it off Allnodes (www.flightsim.com). Just type Glacier Bay into the Flightsim.com search engine and it should pop up ;)

Over the past week or so I've been adding and updating a couple of extra FS2004 installs on my box. The one I've been using here is set up purely for retro flights, roughly 1945-1975ish. The two I've added are one for Golden Wings (pre-WWII) and one for post-1975ish flying. FSX is still installed but it's been bugging the heck out of me with the lack of performance compared to FS2004. Going to use it mostly for casual flying - just love to hop in a Piper or Cessna and zip around the Rockies in it.

It downloads in two parts:-

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2. ... BayV2a.zip

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2. ... BayV2b.zip

part a is 88MB and part b is 57MB

FlightSim.com seem to have lost the files!

Thanks for the links Peter. I shall be installing this tonight.

Is there any other scenery addons for Glacier Bay?
