Hmm
Interesting.
I sure hope so as it serves no purpose at LHR.
Would it fit in your beer Garden Dave???

One night then we'll float it up the Thames when they're not looking
Only problem will be trying to explain why you have a Concorde that no one noticed before remarkable similar to the one that's vanished from by the London Eye.
Seriously though, if it had been used as intended for a display at T5 that would still only been seen by those visiting the airport and they are no encouraged.
At least this way it would be in a major tourist spot. Perhaps a couple of black cabs and a Routemaster could sit along side it with maybe a Red Arrow or two when they get stood down

Not a bad idea mate.. a sort of 'Best of British' display

Not overly struck on it being so close to water but that shouldn't be a problem if the right precautions are taken

I gather from the boys at Brooklands that much of it has already been pilfered (some for DG at Brooklands) but in reality, that shouldn't be an issue as it doesn't have to 'work' as such

As long as it'd looked after and externally complete it shouldn't be a problem. maybe , eventually some sort of even part shelter could be built
But if it's kicks around at LHR much longer it will suffer badly anyway so at least something is being done to save it.
BTW I well remember 'AB for one reason (take note re-painters)

..........I was at LHR the day after it lost part of it's rudder

and it landed with an AFR unit...top two sections I think
