I have been trying all weekend to fathom this out! Having made a simple alteration to EGOW (just as a test) and followed the compile instructions I cannot then for the life of me get the scenery to load! What am I doing wrong?

Which folder did you compile it to?
Was FS running at that time?
Which OS are you running?

It should be in Addon Scenery\
Scenery

Hi Paul,
What do you mean when you say it won't load? Do you still see the default airport?
Is "Addon Scenery" activated in the scenery library?
I use ADE all of the time and have never had a problem.

Sorry George - I'm not being specific enough. What I mean to say is this, when I load EGOW (the one I've made changes to) the original unaltered version turns up. But the bgl files are in the Addon Scenery/Scenery folder when viewed through Windows Explorer. Never had any problems with AFCAD and FS9!

You can't simply create a new airport if it already exists in FS. You'll need exclude files etc to hide the default one

I don't have all the bits and bobs on the PC, but I'm sure one of the other chaps can explain
