Outside of the VA, I love the VC-10. Got an Air Display routine going for it, no paylaod and minimum fuel, works well. I do the modern stuff, 737NG, 757, A320 etc but the 1-11 remains my ultimate favourite. Cut my teeth on it in real world operations and has a real place in my heart. DM's representation makes me fell right at home.....(Another chance to mention BIA fleet repaints!!!!!).

Like the Vanguard and the Herald but don't really get on with turboprops as the ground handling leaves something to be desired.

Anyhow, I'm gonna try out the new BCAL fleet and do the West African route this weekend (I'll do a few screenies on the way). Then I'll do a couple more Trident sectors which will open the way for a Comet TR.

A lng, long time ago, when I was nowt but a boy with an airband receiver (not digital, you had to twiddle the knob( :-# ), I remember Dan Air Comets coming into Blackpool on Surveillance Radar Approach talk-downs. Similar sort of era we got Court Line 1-11's and Transeuropa Caravelles into BLK. There were also Braathens DC-6B's in from Oslo every October I think, with dancers for the competitions in the Tower Ballroom. And Invicta Vanguards!!!!

Yeah, yeah,....I know.... :OT:

Recently started flying the Comet and just discovered these repaints -- thanks, David M, for all!
