And it looks like it will have to be like so for everyone, Simshed's making the official grand move to FSX also with the stunning release of the FSX-native Nimrod! Brian, you're the best. Make sure I'm one of the firsts in line to fly it!

"I don't fly Chipmunks - therefore I should be ranked as an Auster!"

Well you are missing a great treat with Rick's Chipmunk :)

Well, that's true - but I am not too interested with these aircraft. The Austers at Classic British Files is just the way to go once you go VFR, and flying VFR's my thing while flying in the UK, away from the busy taxiways of EGCC or EGLL and being away from BA for a while (I'm being stressed post 757 retirement). Especially a flight within Priory Farm - Alf's UK Airfields Vol 20 has this, and Alf Denham himself has done an excellent job creating the accurate and authentic replication of Priory Farm. It's one of my favourite VFR airports to fly within the UK with Austers and Cessnas, apart from Sheffield (Alf's Vol 11) and Wolverhampton (Alf's Vol 18- or was that 16?).

 Er, I meant, virtually....Flying VFR within MSFS!

Perhaps you didn't read my sentence mentioning Alf Denham, the scenery developer who listed a number of little-to-no detail airports in FSX being fixed to have both standard and dedicated objects in his "Alf's UK Airfields" collection, a number of small airfields for FSX.
