Classic British Flight Sim

Well cracking on pretty nicely now,but have encountered another snag.I installed UK 2000 Part 4,i then removed everything to do with Lakenheath, af2 bgl,etc,installed MAIW Lakenheath...but NO runway,taxiways etc.All the buildings are there plus all the AI F15's,but NO concrete.I opened up the AFCAD programme,which stated i only had the stock one and the maiw one..mod 38 present.Even when i revert to the standard Lakenheath,there is nothing but grass.any ideas please?

Probably a good plan to pop over to MAIW and ask there-this problem has probably come up before.

Is there any reason why you uninstalled the UK2000 Lakenheath? Just wondering why you would remove it and use the MWAI version. It may be the MWAI version is better.. I really couldn't say I'm guessing the default wouldn't have a great deal there (level 7 on my system) though you should have runways, taxiways e t c. Did the UK2000 Lakenheath work? It has parking so should be suitable for AI (though that's no guarantee)

IIRC it doesn't have the parking in the right place, and may not have enough, whereas the MAIW Lakenheath is designed for the AI package and has had a lot of research going into it

I'm not into military AI but I'll give it a go if you point me in the right direction. Is it FSX or FS9 you're running?

Thinking about it, even it if works on my system.. there's no reason I can think of why you're not seeing runways/taxiways e t c for the default scenery if all you've done is removed the UK2000 stuff Are there any buildings visible?

I believe tg13 is running FS9 (which is also what the Lakenheath scenery is designed for).

Yes.. the clues are obvious. FSX doesn't have UK2000 part4 Tks for the prod
