Cheers Rich

I saw the shuttle atop the AN.225 at Paris in 1989

The 225 was actually built to carry it :)

Nasa just gave a go for another mission past the this one coming which they swore would be the last.

But one day the shuttles will go to the respective buyers. hopefully :worried:

the pads will be fitted for the new space gen vehicles. something futuristic is my guess. *-) you know -- long and pointy. ;)

You never know, we might step into the void........well it's a nice thought.

Idea for a orbiting assembly dock station - http://www.reactionengines.co.uk/obs.html

And what will be built with it - http://www.reactionengines.co.uk/troy.html

All parts taken up to space via remotely controlled vehicles, in this case Skylon - http://www.reactionengines.co.uk/skylon.html

Reaction engines are quite a few projects on the go, contra-rotating turbine engines, heat exchangers and a Hybrid Air-breathing Rocket Engine :)

I've been following Reaction engines for a while and I'd love to see their SSTO craft get funding. It's the way to go IMO.
A lot of stuff looks promising at the moment, the VASIMIR engine being one of them.
