Another Sound Artiste

We have been fortunate enough to have Neville Hepburn join us next door at The Pond -- he has just submitted a sound file for DaveG's Anson -- Having heard Ansons going in and out of Northolt in the early 60's he has nailed it....Its a big file but it compliments Dave's modeling skills perfectly. Now if someone would just make a Mk19!!!!

I have been roaring around Ratcliffe in my ATS Anson all morning listening to it -- Neville even got the gear sound right -- except as he says he only runs for 6 secs and not the 129 "winds" that the original Annie took....bet it was fun watching new students fly it -- bet they had good muscles on their left arms too....:)

Ground erks were 'encouraged' to fly on the early Ansons as much as possible, just for that purpose! My late uncle (a 'winged bullet' AG before they got around to giving him a full eyetest! ) spent his early days on them at Thorney island.

Trev - (et al)

Nigel has reduced the size of his sound file to allow those with weaker internet connections the chance to enjoy them....Im still befuddled, the larger file took me three minutes to download and it ran perfectly the new file took less than a minute....Hopefully this will improve things for people, if the problem persists with indivduals connection I will as usual post a sendbigfile link over at the Pond so everyone may have it...It really does compliment Dave Garwoods work....also in the future Nigel and Gary Jones will be working in tandem so between them look for some really outstanding sounds..

Does anyone know where I can find the sound file for the Avro Anson?
I looked in the file library on here but I couldn't find it...

Thanks
