Yes.. a 'grey' moment I'm afraid. When I typed it, it didn't seem right though I knew what I meant It was indeed the aircraft.. one of the aircraft that starred in the film Memphis Belle and played the 'star' role It carries the Memphis Belle nose art on one side and 'Sally B' on t'other Another star from the film often seen at Duxford is the French owned/operated 'Pink Lady'. Nice to see the pair of them up together when it happens
Not a lot of people know this but a mate of mine was an 'extra' in the film. As many times as I've seen it.. I still haven't seen him even though I know where he was and I know where to look

One thing to note though, there were 2 "Memphis Belle's", "Sally B", and the "Movie Memphis Belle" which is still painted as such (with "The Movie" added) here in the states -
