Hi Guy's..

Yes.. a 'grey' moment I'm afraid. 8) When I typed it, it didn't seem right though I knew what I meant :lol: It was indeed the aircraft.. one of the aircraft that starred in the film Memphis Belle and played the 'star' role :) It carries the Memphis Belle nose art on one side and 'Sally B' on t'other ;) Another star from the film often seen at Duxford is the French owned/operated 'Pink Lady'. Nice to see the pair of them up together when it happens ;)

Not a lot of people know this but a mate of mine was an 'extra' in the film. As many times as I've seen it.. I still haven't seen him even though I know where he was and I know where to look :lol:

One thing to note though, there were 2 "Memphis Belle's", "Sally B", and the "Movie Memphis Belle" which is still painted as such (with "The Movie" added) here in the states -
