Mystery old car, can anyone identify?

...hopefully someone on here is old enough to know what this is. I am curious because I feel I should know what this is, but everything I think it might be, it appears not to be (tried looking up Morris, Wolseley, Riley, Humber, Ford, Vauxhall etc models but so far I haven't matched it). Appears to be mid/late 1950s but interestingly lacking from it are the fins that many cars had at that time, especially cars influenced by the US. It has a 'British' look about it to me.

When someone on here hopefully identifies it, I'm sure I will kick myself.

Hi Folks

Toby -
It looks like the early Ford Zephyr.

EDIT -
Ford Zephyr Six, (Zephyr Mk 1) or Zephyr Zodiac

A Zephyr Zodiac was our family's first car.

By the look of it, I would say that it is a Ford Zephyr

It's a Zodiac I, most likely. The fog lamps and two-tone paint were standard on the Zodiac, though they could of course have been fitted as extras to a Zephyr I.
