Well aside from aviation. Something else that I was always fascinated by as a child was trains. Both real and models.
In the late 1970's and early 1980's you were either a Hornby or Scalextric kid. I made my choice and always remember the bits of track and train I used to have.
Sadly growing up we lived in a small house that had very little room for a good layout.
Don't ask me why but I saw this on eBay the other day and loved it.
It took me back several years and its gonna look great next to the other transport models I have in the office.
Love the way the previous owner went to work to give it a weathered look. Especially the dirty bogies. Just a bit of a shame theres no driver.
I think one day when I've retired, I'll build a huge layout in the loft like the chap in the old yellow pages advert.
