Just read on the BBC Ceefax service that two Nimrod R1's are to be kept in service for a few months - June is quoted, but the MOD have declined to comment that this is as a result of the 'no fly' zone over Lybia.

It doesn't strike me as the most useful asset to keep around to enforce a no-fly zone over Libya, with the amount of unrest in the region it could be used virtually anywhere!
