Heathrow a national treasure?

I've just been reading the latest BA staff magazine.
They've just started work on the hangar roof at Tech Block A (TBA) the old BOAC hangar behind Speedbird House. It needs to be altered to accommodate the A380s.
Apparently TBA is a Grade 11 listed building and BA had to get permission from English Heritage before work could commence!
I'm sorry, but I can't get my head around it!

Sandpaper? There's no need to be so abrasive! That really rubbed me up the wrong way - but I'll be fine soon.
