Not a bad innings 94... Slightly off topic. Dont know if anyone can remember what the product was that was being advertised not sure if it was glue or wallpaper paste. A guy wearing overalls was stuck to a board and then he was picked up by a helicopter and this flew off somewhere with him hanging beneath,advertising the strength of the glue/paste that was keeping him attached to the board...This was an ad. that was on the tele years ago.

I definitely remember the ads and I think it was for wallpaper paste. For some reason I can see the ads in my mind and the packaging was green and yellow but for the life of me I can't remember the name of the glue! The name was something that ended in '.....solve' IIRC.

I think it may have been Solvite - Wallpaper paste/Glue. Was'nt he hung over some snakes or something?

I think you are correct with the 'Solvite' name.

I definitely remember the helicopter one and I think you are right with the snakes in another ad too. IIRC they did a whole range of them. Wasn't he hung over a railway bridge in one and a steam loco came though enveloping him in smoke and steam?
