The pilot landed just ahead of a strong storm front that moved into Palm Beach County earlier today. The winds hit like Colins hammer!
sorry about the quick cut at the end... a bunch of words that shouldn't be heard , and nothing really again happened after. He made it to the tiedowns. whew

I wonder if this was part of the same front that blew through Texas yesterday.

I was up on the 3rd floor observation/party deck at work (Southwest Airlines Headquarters) watching aircraft fighting the crosswind landings at Love Field. Those aircraft were getting knocked around pretty good...even our 737's.

don't know Brian
I was just hoping the plane wouldn't flip , nearly had prop strike.
Some good experience for him to double check the weather before departure. And and trying to beat it.

Impressive ! He's just raised the max demonstrated crosswind limit for the 182 to about 40kts

A thorough check off the plane was done today. Oddly enough the only damage found was a hole in the right seat.
