I've got an old Atari St in the loft, I wonder if I could fit an micro atx board in there...

Yep, both had the same core. I added a "Zip Chip" to mine which increased the speed to 4mhz. Don't laugh - it boots faster than Windows XP!

Tech has moved on since then though. I mean here I am browsing the Internet on a 1ghz battery powered toutchscreen tablet at the end of the garden in front of a BBQ with a beer. I bet people didn't think that was possible when the C64 was out... Or even 10 years ago! Even at this vast distance from the router I'm still getting 4 mbit download and 2 mbit upload!

I'm surfing from an LG Optimus Mark

Going back about sixteen years ago I had a Sharp Wizard 512. It was capable of faxing.
Cost around 600.00
