That difference in date format has to be one of the most frustrating things when working with colleagues in the US. You only get to realise when things are off if you see dates like 11/30/2011 - so you have 30 months in your US calendar do yer?
Finally getting everyone to work with 30 Nov 2011 - simples! (as a meerkat would say) (UK joke

I know...my bad.

DD/MM/YYYY vs MM/DD/YYYY; Driving on the left side of the road vs the right; cookies vs biscuits; fags vs cigarettes, etc. It's a good thing there's an ocean separating the UK from the US or we'd drive each other nuts!

Just kidding of course.

We already have people here in Texas who drive on the left side of the road. You'll usually see them right after the bars close. Hey, maybe they're ex-pats!?

I think there are many countries that use DD/MM/YYYY format versus the US that insists on MM/DD/YYYY! The majority should rule!
Oh, Brian, your forgot holding a fork in the right hand and using it like a shovel instead of holding the knife in right hand and fork in left hand. Maybe urban legend, but I hear some US spies were caught in Germany during WWII because of the way they held their cutelry

My tax stuff is already squared away with Uncle Sam.

He (Uncle Sam) says he owes me
this much money from
this year's taxes, even though I still owe him a bit from
last year's taxes, which of course he'll get from the money
he owes
me from
this year's taxes to pay for
last years taxes. GAWD, no wonder this country is in such a mess!
