Filton "EGTG" To Close

Filton airfield is to close by the end of next year. This will not effect the aerospace companies of Airbus or GKN who are on site at the airfield. Bae Systems the owner of the airfield say the airfield is no longer viable as an airport. Will be interesting to see what happens to the site in the future. Just wonder how the airbus wings which are made here are going to leave the site in the future,although saying that there is a railway line close by, and where is the Police chopper going to be moving to and what will happen to Concorde "AF" too....
