OK, mention 'Dambusters', you think, 617 Squadron, Lancaster, World War II perhaps.... :hide:

No! think DC-4, think Buffalo Airways :wall: (yes that one in the middle of nowhere in Canada http://www.buffaloairways.com/), think (UK) Channel 4 next month (allegedly).

Came across this yesterday evening http://dambustersblog.com/2011/04/17/re ... c4-in-may/

This I have to see :bandit:

Looks good, talking of Buffalo Airways i wish this programme which was aired on the "Quest" channel here in the UK would return. I miss seeing those old vintage propliners the DC-3, DC-4 and Electra flying..

The "run" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IeGYkwVIWw&feature=fvhl

:)

It's only when you see the buoys fly past under the plane that you get an impression of who low it is, then the splash up from the drop.

Obviously for modern Canadian Elf & Safety reasons they blew it later rather than use an explosive bouncing bomb, at least that what it looks to me.

That's pretty impressive... now try doing it at night and with half of Germany intent on shooting them down

Seriously cool though ;)

Kind regards

And once again, those of us in the US are screwed out of seeing something cool because people decide to upload it with country restrictions.... :(
