A really nice model of the classic homebuilt. :) The author has put a ton of work into this project. He's built a model with floats, skis, wheelpants, no wheelpants, tundra tires, and a WWI theme model. I've only downloaded the wheelpants and no wheelpants models but between them there are 21 individual models with 21 texture sets. Amazing! The aileron control cables (rising up out of the nose) are animated and are a lot of fun to watch while flying. Oh, and she flies like a dream too.

Just downloaded the WWI theme model (2 models and 2 texture sets) and the float model (4 models and 4 texture sets). I bet Peter will be interested in the float model. ;)

Yes Brian, I tried this little floatplane and enjoyed everything about it...Especially for slow sight seeing type flight:-

If you have a slowish Broadband which causes buffering pauses, click the Pause icon in the bottom left corner, then click the resolution up to 1080p...Now WAIT as the pink band moves from left to right, till it gets about halfway across. Now click that same Pause icon to start it running again and finally click the Full Screen icon at bottom right...It should now run through without further pausing. At the end you will see a "Replay" button...If you click that you will get an uninterupted full screen replay!

Excellent Peter
If I wondered if this aircraft is stressed for aerobatics , I now have the answer.
Thinks - I must stop trying to switch to cockpit view when watching your H.D. videos.
Cheers

Dave...that one is difficult, especially when in Full Screen Mode...I keep doing it myself and wondering why the hat switch is not working

I don't think this aeroplane is meant to be aerobatic but I like to throw things around to find the limits of manoeuvrability. It was designed to be home built so I doubt it was cleared for more than the odd chandelle :)

There is a fairly large choice of engines that you can use and they range from 65 to 100HP...This one is fitted with a Continental 65HP so with 100HP and an aerobatic carburettor (if permitted), it could be a bit of a tiger. I will get Bandit Enterprises to look into the various engine choices to see if any of the 100HP engines can have an aeros carb. :)
