Hi folks,

Rarely were these two aircraft photographed together in an airworthy capacity at least.

Amazing photo. And to think this aircraft was destroyed the next day.

Indeed it does mate.

I recall all sorts of rumors as to the cause of the Tu-144 crash.

The footage of it was grainy and unclear, although its obvious the pilot was pushing the aircraft way beyond its limits.

I'm sure we all know the excellent concordestt website, but there's some great stuff on the sister TU144 site, including videos of both aircraft from that fateful day..
