For now, the BBMF were flying straight on to Libya after to provide air cover and bombing duties.

No mate. Two aircraft were borrowed from the Belgians. :)

Probably. That said, I believe it was considerably bigger than the flypasts for other Royal weddings. ;)

Nice to see the cops smart as a button too. Tunics and bulled boots. :)

With the exception of CO19 who were in their day to day kit. Perhaps the MP5's were polished. *-)

PROT officers seemed to be on the ball which was nice to see, especially with the cameras rolling.

Yes it was nice to see the Met looking smart and winning praise for their crowd handling. For Annes' wedding I was on duty at the Abbey so got a ringside seat. I can't remember how well my boots were bulled though. For Dianas' wedding I was night duty on the van. We ran a few early campers up to Trafalgar Square to a Salmonella stall for burgers etc. The Sally Army did a mobile soup kitchen for anybody out there. I must admit it was good soup! I am a bit of a Royalist but SWMBO is not. So to avoid sarcy comments I taped it. We went to Morrisons and did the shopping.
